Today was my first day as a volunteer at The Children's Hospital! I'm the newest Gift Shop Girl - I'll be on my own after a couple of weeks. And I absolutely love it! Just being able to be a happy face and a bright smile in a dark spot in peoples' lives makes me feel so alive. I can't wait. Also...the hospital food is actually pretty good! And I ate dinner for 7 bucks. That's amazing. Welcome to my new Thursday evening routine!
