The Cone of Shame
My sister's dog, Tilly, is entertainment at its finest. She got her tail shut in a door which caused cuts on both sides (no breaks!). My dad wrapped it and it was healing...until Tilly got a hold of it. It'll never heal of you don't stop picking!
