We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Hilton in downtown Colorado Springs. not only was it steps from Tejon, a street lined with one-of-a-kind restaurants, bars, boutiques, breakfast nooks, and myriad crazy people, we were also upgraded to the tallest, best corner room on the premises! with wrap-around windows, there wasn't a bad view from it!
In search of a dinner destination, we ended up parking ourselves at Sonterra, where we dined to classical guitar, indulged on flaming (literally) queso, and were dismayed by the greatness of the Blue Corn Shrimp and Lobster enchiladas. My mouth waters in respect for the memory.
Next we grabbed drinks at Ritz grill and sat astounded by the bar crown in the "Sprangs". Wow.
I might've got my boogie on out of respect for the ghetto music and the white girls trying to dance to it.
We ended the night at Jack Quinn's pub. While it's a shame I don't have photos of us dancing the jig to the amazing live Irish band that was playing (my arms were sore the next day from clapping so much and so hard), we did get some great inside joke photogs!
The Irish ain't no doomies.
