It became a part of us.

Opening Night

Mike took me to Happy Sumo for sushi, shopping at Forever 21, and then escorted me to see Wall*E opening night at Orchard Center! This movie was more than I could've ever hoped for! I'd been in a crappy mood for both days of Org Meeting, but when I showed that preview, I found my happy place. I laughed and cried and kissed Mike numerous times on the cheek for coming with me. It was a fabulous night...with a new dress on!

Vedgamina

I had incredible plans for my afternoon in Salt Lake City. Roadside America had helped me plan my routes of weird sites, and there was a Barnes & Noble a mile from my hotel. There was even a Starbucks next door! But I sat down on my bed around 4 o'clock...and I didn't get up again for the rest of the day.

I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier

One of the few pictures I took with my camera; Steph's memory card in her amazing camera was FINALLY full with the 300 photos we'd taken the two previous days... :-D As soon as she sends me a photo CD, the gooduns will be up for Friday & Saturday!

Twilight

I discovered this book, and it's 3 sequals, on accident thanks to Quicktime movie trailers - mecca to all those who, like me, are sure to get to the movie theater on time so as not to miss an ounce of previews! So, needless to say between a great love story and even better vampires, I was intrigued. I bought the books; carrying them through Border's elicited the excitement of the FOUR women with whom I came in contact. Apparently I've been living under a rock.

Now, 2 days later, that I'm almost done with the first one - I believe it. Count down to 12.12.08 - and not just for my quarter of a century birthdate!

Red Letter Day

Sometimes, I think, there has got to be something more meaningful that I should be doing. I just have no clue what it is.

Go Green

If I hear one more commercial spouting this, I'm gonna show someone black and blue.

But here's some organic weedeating for you...apparently it's cheaper to get these guys to come out and eat the foliage around one of my dealerships than it is to hire a lawn mowing service.

Who knew.
