Mike & I took the 120X bus down to Market Street Station to check out our first ever Denver Chalk Art Festival.  What an amazing day!
Artists start at 8 in the morning on Saturday and work through Sunday evening.  They close off Larimer and several of the surrounding streets, and as the day goes on the crowds float through the streets with wine in hand to enjoy the process.
We started at Bistro Vendome, my favorite downtown brunch place.  So romantic, and perfect weather to sit on the cute little patio!
Seriously.  I'm still young enough to get a huge kick out of getting to do something (walk around downtown streets with wine in hand) that is normally illegal.

Two squares were copies of one of my favorite artists, Mucha.  Being able to watch those transform from lines and actual chalk renditions was stunning.
