Memory Lane
When I was little, we used to eat at this dive burger joint in Pantego called Jackson's. Their burgers were fanfreakintastic. But my favorite part about eating there was the pinball machine. I could watch my dad play pinball for hours. He had this amazing ability to keep that ball in play for what seemed like forever. I would hold my breath as he'd let the ball almost fall into the black hole between the pins and just when I thought it was lost forever, he'd pop those buttons and that silver orb would go flying into some plastic mouth, or spaceship, or mini-ferris wheel, causing my sister and I to be in awe of the flashing lights and extra turns he'd win. It's a magic machine.
