Doing things a little out of order today, but am just too excited about our brand new exterior!  Here are the colors we used so hopefully others can be benefitted, as I had a difficult time finding actual photos of the paint, much less picking out the colors.  After the major stress of second-guessing my painting decision, it makes it that much more pleasing to be as thoroughly happy with the colors!

Be sure to click to get the full effect - it looks darker in photos than it actually is.  Such a rich color, and the job was incredibly well-done!  Gardner Painting was the company with which we contracted, and the work was actually done by Brother's Painting, owned by a man named Angel.  They did an incredible job, so happy with the final outcome.

This door makes a statement (inspired by this shirt)...I LOVE IT!

It's time to find some acrylic spray paint for plastics and brighten up my great-grandmother's porch furniture!
Seriously not as chocolate as it looks in pictures.  I can't wait for my family to see it!
So much better than the original - it's about time after 16 years with the original mauve/pink paint combination!

Wine & Cheese: Quivas Style

Mike and I decided to save a little dough and do our own Wine & Cheese night!  We purchased all the fixins at King Soopers - I was amazed at the selection of cheeses as well as additives!  All on my lovely white dishes.  It was a small slice of heaven.

Favorite Tree

So, I try not to let on to my various plants that I might love more than the other.  But this tree is a cut above the rest simply because of the beautiful flowers it surprised me with this spring.
 Seriously.  Look at these.

Sucker Punch

Mike & I went for a double Cinebarre feature: Paul & Sucker Punch.  It was a very successful trip, unlike the last one!  Paul was amusing (I love that SNL girl) during which we enjoyed a scrumptious set of their awesome fries.  But the movie I really loved was (shocker, I know) Sucker Punch.  I'm not sure if it's an innate love of anything even remotely like Sailor Moon, the soundtrack, the stunning visuals, or how from the very first scene I couldn't take my eyes from the story.  It's not a happy movie, but it's a movie about fighting, and so many stories with a battle to fight don't include females.  Loved every minute of it.
