I completely forgot to post these last week as they were on my blackberry!  But I found them...so up the go.  It's funny looking back, but at the time I actually wasn't laughing because I felt so bad for him!  He's good now, though, so we can have a good time at his previous expense. :-)

Keeping Clean

Reina brought us these absolutely beautiful dish towels that her husband's mother hand-stitches!  I just love them, they're so soft and absorbent!  Such a thoughtful gifl; they make me happy just looking at them!

Done!  The drawer was actually going to be green until I sprayed one coat and hated it.  Fortunately, I had half a can left over from the futon frame on my little spray paint shelf in the garage!  Worked out nicely...

Kona had to go once again to the vet this week.  Again, more traumatic for us than for him.  Hopefully this medication will help him not itch constantly.  But until then, this face is going to milk the sympathy for all it's worth.

And in my case, it's worth a heck of a lot.

Fun with Power Tools

I invested in a Corner Cat sander for the purpose of sanding down this old medicine cabinet I found at a church yard sale.  Unfortunately, there were so many layers of paint that my original plan to sand it down to it's original finish was for not.  But I'm going to spray paint this puppy to fit nicely on my porch, which will be just fine.

Things You Can't Live Without:

My amazing Fossil Crosstown Camera purse arrived today!  My sister has one kinda like it, and my mom has one exactly like it.  I was rather envious of the lack of baggage she had while having such wonderful organization!  So I'm going the small purse way.  I love this thing!

Check out all that organization in such a small compartment.  It makes me little obsessive-compulsive heart so happy!

Last Week's Thrift Store Find

These things will run you about $80 at PetsMart.  Trust us, we've been stalking them.  So I've been eyeing Goodwill since deciding we needed one for the car for Kona.  Found one in the just-donated pile that hadn't been priced yet, then found one for $40 that I didn't think was a steal.  I just happened to stop at the Goodwill next to my Loveland dealership, and this little number was sitting outside the door!

So I snapped it up, took it apart, gave it an intense scrubbing with antibacterial soap, and voila!  New Kona Kar Krate!  A little elbow greese is so worth $60.  *insert pride here*

Funny Story

All of the zone managers have been slowly getting new Blackberries as the old ones die a slow, painful Microsoft death.  I was the latest one to win the war against technology and receive a new one, to the jealousy of Chris and Ryan.  One night last week, I got an e-mail from Chris that his had gone through the washer and he was well on his way to getting a new one.

It turns out, it went through the washer because he got food poisning from a nice restaurant he treated his wife to, and was stuck in traffic when it hit.  So not only was his Blackberry ruined via the washer, his navigation system in his MKX had been destroyed by the puke monster, too! 

When he finally admitted this to me, I was at a dealership, and I started laughing at the sales tower to the major surprise of my dealer personnel.

To add to the hilarity of this now amazing inside story, his wallet was also covered in his former dinner, too.  Until he gets a new one, this baggie is serving as his card carrier, which he busts out when we stop for lunch.  I laugh every time, to which he promptly tells me to "shut it".
