Pole Party

What a GREAT idea for bachelorette parties, or simply a girl's night out!  That's exactly what tonight was - Jessica had a bunch of girls over for snacks, drinks, and some pole dancing lessons!  No judgement, way fun girls that were encouraging and a blast to be with.  It was a crazy workout - the instructor teaches fitness classes for women based around a pole in Fort Collins.  If she was closer, I would totally take her class - fun, fast way to burn fat and get your heart rate WAY up!  The instructor is absolutely awesome, as well, encouraging, fun, and super happy.

 Thanks, Jessica!  Totally needed the estrogen fix.

This week's thrift store finds

Wow what a clothes haul!  I was so excited about the crazy awesome shirts I found today!  Oddly enough, they were kind of in two color categories: blue and pink.

Old Navy sheer top, silk bottom dress, Banana navy top, Target button-down, some great workout pants, and...

 A GAP shirt I remember wanting a long time ago!  Look at this PRINT!

 Next, the pinks - some great sweaters, sheer tops for spring, and a velvet scarf.

The two coolest finds, though, were this Asian overlay - for either a dress or maybe skinny jeans, I'm not sure yet...

And an Anthropologie top, WITH TAGS.

I decided to utilize the blank wall in my master closet to hand some 3M hooks and use it as a canvas on which I could paint my outfit for the day!  There are hooks for bottoms and tops, as well as one for dresses!  So I can compare...this may seem mundane to you, but it totally made my morning!

We had the gang over to watch the final 3 episodes of Season 6 of Lost.  While the ending might have been a total let-down, Alicia's Dharma Initiative and Smoke Monster cookies were OUTSTANDING.  Great evening with great friends.

Kid Sister

Karley turned 24 today - it's pretty amazing the adventures we've had!  I just wish they were easier to have now that we're older, have jobs, husbands, and different states...Happy Birthday, Narnenz!

Mike volunteered me to redesign the St Vrain FC office, which is incredibly exciting and terrifying at the same time.  I took some photos of the place to start pondering exactly what to do...as you can see, total chaos.  It'll be my first out-of-home project, which is going to be interesting!
