Happy Anniversary!

At E & O Trading Company for dinner. Fantastic!

And then...on to Dave & Busters Waikiki to ring in the new year with horse racing, coin games, half price drinks, dancing on the roof, an ocean firework show, and lots and lots of happy love!

Blue for the sky, and the color Green

Oahu's North Shore, rainy tourism, and the perfect drive: a study.

I'd like a little hamburger with my avocado, please.

What was once a convalescent home. One of many amazing abandoned buildings I would've given my pinkie toe to explore.

I love the ocean best when it is dangerous.

Out

The view from Mike's parent's condo. Amazing.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we realized shortly after walking into this place that it totally wasn't our scene. But I like the peaking frog. This was also shortly before I was offered weed for the first time in my life! Seriously! ON THE STREET! AMAZING!

Whatever happened to subtlety?!

FINALLY!

Hello, Honolulu!

Ah yes...same outfit, no makeup. Yummy.

And then I was taken to a Japanese department store, and I had entered my own personal heaven!!! I was also showered and appropriately weather dressed. Which helps. Every time.

United Sucks

For the second time on this trip, United absolutely SNAFUed and took yet another day our of our Hawaii leg by cancelling our flight (and keeping our luggage) giving us an overnight stay in LA. I wish I'd gotten a picture with Maev, the 15 year old we rescued from tears and a screaming mother on her cell phone. With her, and Michelle, our new favorite attorney from D.C., we made a pissed-off, laughing ragtag team of people wearing the same underwear the next day.

This photo, however, was before that awful incident, when I was still happy to be in LA (but was without my UM - unaccompanied minor):

P.C.B.

Post Christmas Biz.

I should probably better explain some of these for those that don't know me or my whereabouts that well. I've become a bit lazy...Mike got my dad a set of horseshoe pits that he would build...it turned into a male-bonding experience. And the finished product was amazing!

It's a four-butt kitchen.

Travel Buddies

We decided to try the skyRide - a bus that goes straight from the Arapahoe Light Rail station to the airport. It was probably my greatest find that week, as it cost HALF of what it would to park for the amount of time we're going to be gone. It just added to the airport adventure!

I personally think this is the most adorable picture of him I've ever taken. On the escalators heading towards our gate...he is very excite!

2 Years & 10 Days

That's exactly the age difference between my parents. Which, my dad pointed out, is exactly the age difference between Mike & me as well! Happy Birthday, Love!

His presents were very cooking themed...he's amazing in the kitchen.

New restaurant! Merle's in downtown Littleton! It's a new local fav!

Yao Guai

It is going to take us FOREVER to beat Fallout 3. You have no idea how exciting this is to the little Nerd that lives inside me!

Lucky

It's the best I could do with the lighting I was given...I really wish he didn't change his number so much! It's hard enough to keep track where he is!!!

I believe in Unicorns

I also believe today was my last day of work. And I will not be checking my Crackberry again. Til January 5th.

Heck. Yes.

Feels like I'm home

Sometimes the best part about an already stellar evening on the town, is heading home. Especially when Home is keeping you warm in the late night downtown snowstorm...
