Puppy see, puppy do
Jen and I ran across the stree after dinner at P.F. Chang's to the mall, where we both vowed not to spend money. Oddly enough, the only money we did spend was when I found a dress I had loved over Christmas at BR which was originally $140 and marked down to $16.15, with tax. That seemed worth breaking the rules. As always, though, the trip began with a visit to the pet store, where the guy remembered Jen telling him that holding a puppy made him a definite 10.
I laughed SO hard. It's so rare that she's the one turning red!!!

Colder than a well-digger's butt
It had warmed up...it was -2˚. With the windchill at -30˚ if you were outside for more than 15 minutes with any skin exposed you could get frostbite.
Are you freaking kidding me?!?!

Le sigh
Spilt coffee on myself for the third time this week on the way to church. Thank God (and Moom) for that Tide pen. I have witnessed a miracle, and it is modern-day stain removal.

It's the hair
See, the thing about Japanese-style female comics is that they are not embarassed to be embarassingly romantic. They are simple in their story-telling, and the endings are always how you think they're going to be...just the way I like it.
I've been reading Red String for years now...it was my first online comic experience. And these two entries have a point: when I am so tired that I can barely walk, it's this little escape that is always there for me with a glass of wine and Lindt chocolate truffles. Happy, happy weekend!

Sweet dreams
I love artbook scans. This has been one of my favorite since I discovered Sailor Moon...and through Sailor Moon, the internet. Weird, huh? Freshman year of high school. And now...I have a portable computer the size of a cell phone the follows me everywhere. Growing up is a trip...
But there are some things you just never grow out of.
