The fountain was a major disappointment. The photo ops, however, were not.

Lost

Who knew there could be so much construction on one subway system?!

Mass Transit Chaos.

I pod. And I pod VERY well.

It's a "Not so much"

There's no way you'd get me on a submarine with this number on it. This is all that's left of the original that was a part of WWII. It currently resides in the only park in Arco, ID, Population 1002.

10 Second Rule

So this little guy was found between the bug shield and hood of a Super Duty. My service manager had him clear coated...for rememberance's sake.

Who ARE you?!

World's Largest Rocking Chair

I'm going to have to say this is debatable. There is a rather large one on the way back from Comanche in Texas that claims to be so as well...

Impending doom

When I landed in Denver and entered into the chaos that had become DIA, I didn't realize that there was a blue sky hole right where the 54 cloth peaks meet to form the terminal ceiling. But as I drove away, I saw how lucky I was to make it back without a fight. Kiss the ground, thank the Lord, I'm home.

Guilty as charged

Sometimes, I love my job.

I was kidnapped and taken to a customer's ranch today. As a result, I was surrounded by dogs, mini schnauz, some random ugly dog, and then this sweetheart.

How can you not love that face?

Worth it

As an added incentive to my acknowledgement of the conviction to quit my discovered, and discouraging, addiction to Facebook, my mom said that if I did, cold turkey, just let it go, she would forgo her diet, make a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough, and eat it raw with me.

We started as soon as we got to the house in Comanche, and enjoyed the celebration aaaaaaaall weekend!

Doug Funny

After an incredible meal at Ghengis Grill (despite some cell phone chaos), Doug & I had some fun times (and even better reading) in Borders! Arlington welcomed me back by taking my money. Most of which ended up on our heads... *grin*

Doug...just as the books fell.

*Concentrating*

Victory is mine! Until Doug made me laugh and I dropped them all!
