My Old Fave Airport

This bridge always caused mixed feelings...upon arrival it meant a week of work.  Upon departure, home.
At lunch here all the time...
 And enjoyed this art installation!

BOI

I am traveling to Boise for our very last Fusion in '14 Sales Rally.  It's been almost five years since I ended my three year stint in that zone, and so much of it feels so familiar, and yet so different.  The HGI that became my home away from home is under construction.  The upper floors are complete, new hallways and carpet:
But this is how I always remember it:

To Each His Own

There's one way to decorate an office...

Done!

In the visitor's locker room in the Stadium at Mile High...in the middle of a snow storm.

Calvin did a spot-on Matt Foley spoof.  Classic.

Fusion in '14

My very first sales rally...and I was responsible for planning the entire thing.  One down, one to go!

SVFC

Mike's new office.  My favorite part was the welcome mat.  And the window, of course.

Shadow

Sometimes I feel as though my life is being measured through this window.

Gross

I freaked out one of my co-workers by telling him never to put anything in the seatback pockets nor touch anything already in them because it is one of the best breeding grounds for all sorts of nasties.

So I took a photo on my flight back to send him as a reminder.  What completely sends that point home is the staining that showed up with the picture flash.  Disgusting.

A Little Something to Remember Me By

“What’s the story on the gargoyle?” I asked the sales manager at the dealership where I was holding training.

“Oh…that was a gift to the dealer from his wife one year.  She wasn’t too happy with him…"

*insert gales of laughter here*

“I probably shouldn’t have told you that,” he said, before joining in.

I dried my eyes and said, “I’m not going to even ask about the slot machines.”

"Good call."

Framed

It is so stinkin' beautiful here in Colorado right now.  I can't get enough.

Yeah. Still Here.

Somehow we survived this. Perhaps by yelling really loud and freaking people out in the airport. It's the Denver region's new thing. And I am GOOD at it.

Guess Where I Am

So, we had a cocktail reception around the pool. Which was nice.  And I also got to see one of my favorite people in FoMoCo, which makes this the best trip ever. Janice MacRitchie is my hero.

How I Roll

I am tight with the guys at Laptop Hotline.  So when I called to ask if there was any chance we had an extra docking station, they snuck me one for my home office, and overnighted it to my house.  Add in the screen I found when cleaning out the crawlspace and I've gone aaaaaaaall Matrix up in heya.

Appreciate.

Guess What Day It Is

Grammes introduced me to this gem on Monday, after which both of us started snorting we were laughing so hard.  Yesterday, he came in at 7am and said "Keeeeeendraaaaaaaa!  Guess what day it is!"

This morning, I exclaimed "Mike mike mike mike mike mike!  What day is it?"

"HUMP DAY!" we both yelled.

And that is why I work here.
