I experience sledding for the first time in the 30 years I've been on this earth.

Let me tell you: it was terrifying.  I miss the lack of awareness of one's mortality that one loses with age.

That being said...I'll be going again!

I found this awesome little ornament in Hawaii, and vowed that I would get one in both Colorado and Texas when we went.  Mike and I had an all day shopping excursion that included Kohls (where we purchase him some epic Levis) and H&M (where we purchased me some epic dresses), and - no joke - five different Starbucks stops in hopes of finding one for Denver and/or Colorado.

Starbucks gave me the finger and said "You no get."

Date Night

Mike surprised me with sunflowers when he "picked me up at 7 for our first date."

He then proceeded to take me out for a very nice meal and a spontaneous date night today!  We finally tried The Hideaway, right down from our house, and enjoyed the family-owned steak house immensely.  We even went out for a drink afterwards at Bar Louie, also a first!  It was an incredible way to end the week/begin the weekend. :-) Meke knows.
